About The Program

Avalanche Kidz offers skating and hockey programs for children aged 4 to 13, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and fun. With classes tailored to various experience levels, from beginners to advanced players, the programs teach skating fundamentals, stickhandling, shooting, and hockey knowledge. Specialized sessions are also available for children with unique needs, ensuring an inclusive and supportive environment.
Description
This is an introductory hockey class for proficient skaters, focusing on skating, stickhandling, shooting, passing, and game play.

Requirements

  • Classes are approximately 45 minutes long.
  • Approved hockey helmets with full face masks and full hockey equipment, including a stick, are required (available for purchase through our registration page).
  • Jerseys are mandatory.
  • Avalanche staff may reassign your child to a different class if it better suits their skill level, ensuring proper development, success, confidence, and enjoyment.
